I’m Vanessa, a 27-year-old Florida transplant originally from Utah. These days, I’m soaking up sunshine, chasing around my toddler Sienna, and making the most of the coastal lifestyle while my husband works his medical residency. We’re fingers-crossed hoping to stay here forever—because honestly, Florida feels like home now.

Why I Started This Blog

This space started as a way to document our Florida chapter—every sunburn, splash pad, craft, and trip to Target with a soggy toddler in tow. I fell in love with the color, the palm trees, and the doable beachy lifestyle that makes mom life feel a little lighter.

And Pinterest? Oh, we go way back. I was the girl in junior high trying to rig the school computer system to let me pin all my dream closets, DIYs, and wedding ideas—unsuccessfully, thanks to school Wi-Fi. But hey, the obsession stuck.

Now I’m creating the kind of content I used to pin: fun, functional, and full of personality.

• My go-to drink is Dr. Pepper with coconut creamer, but if there’s a Swig nearby, make it a Mojito Mama
• You’ll usually find me in shorts, a baggy tee, knock-off Birks, and a beaded necklace I probably made myself
• I’m a firm believer in good earrings, bad reality TV, and showing up exactly as you are
